Lily gently places her finger near the butterfly. It feels like she is holding a whisper when the butterfly clings to her finger.

She wonders, Does the butterfly detect a new sense of lightness? It lingers on her finger, when suddenly, before she can even say a proper good-bye, the butterfly flutters upward.
